We bake all our products from scratch, using quality fresh ingredients that are always suitable for vegetarians and vegans. Our kitchens are completely vegetarian, so there is never a risk of cross-contamination. We don’t use any artificial flavours or preservatives but we do incorporate a splash of colour in some of our products, using veggie-friendly food colouring. Our products are more expensive than mass-produced versions because not only do we use the best ingredients but we put a great deal of love and care into producing everything by hand. Doing things this way ensures that standards and quality are at an optimum level.
Our products are free from eggs and dairy products, but they contain wheat flour so are not suitable for people with an intolerance or allergy to gluten (we may introduce gluten-free versions if there’s enough demand from customers, so please let us know if you would be interested in this). Our products are made in a kitchen that uses nuts, so unfortunately we cannot guarantee their suitability for people with nut allergies. All of our products contain sugar – often lots of it!
Everything we bake is from unique recipes; unique because we have developed them ourselves! Many, many cookies were consumed during our testing period! We think they taste great and we hope you do too. Our cookies are BIG! The Cookie Favourites range are all around 10-11cm diameter (though because they’re made by hand, not machine, we don’t make perfect circles). As we use no preservatives and bake fresh to order, our products won’t last for weeks like store-bought ones, but we see this as a good thing (and it’s unlikely you’ll be able to stop yourself from eating our cookies quickly anyway!).
Food hygiene is extremely important to us. Our staff are qualified to Level 2 in Food Hygiene and our kitchen is registered with our local authority, as required by law.
